Where do we go from here? How do we survive in this business climate? How do I get up in the morning and KNOW we will survive? These are challenging times. Our primary purpose today is to help our clients to identify how their short term and long term goals regarding their companies translate to facilities which house these companies, to their real estate investments or lease situations. What market looks like today, what opportunities are there that were not there three, four, five or seven years ago when I "bought into" this facility.
KayHarris Real Estate Consultants understands this. We are poised today to assist clients walking through these dilemmas. Whether you are large or small, we "get" that no pat answer will be right for you.
A company we represented six years ago is due to renew their lease. For many reasons, they will stay where they are. We are assisting them renegotiating a lease extension with their landlord with a whole different set of requirements than they had six years ago. A company whose future looked rosy three years ago was hit hard with the downturn in housing development. They do not need the same square footage or the ownership position that was so right for them then. We are facilitating the change they need to make to "right size" to ease the pain of their current situation by selling or leasing their current facility and finding them an alternative location. A company whose market and manufacturing has changed dramatically in recent years is looking to move out of the metro, so we are working with them to bring users to their in town facilities and moving them outstate.
Some preliminary questions:
1. Does my current cost to occupy match my business model?
2. If not, what changes would bring that into line?
3. What do I need that cost to be?
4. How do I get there?
KayHarris Real Estate Consultants has the tools to help you get there.
